Provision and Use Of Public Conveniences In The City Center Of Nairobi

The study is focused to establish a case for the provision and use of public conveniences in the city of Nairobi.Chapter one gives the introduction, statement of the problem, objectives, scope and the methods used to collect and analyze data. Chapter two is composed of literature reviewed from relevant materials. The literature includes the situation of public conveniences (toilets) internationally, nationally and locally.
Chapter three looks at the historical development of Nairobi city, in which the study is based in terms of the size and population. The main characteristics of the central business district (CBD) are given.
Chapter four gives the findings and analysis of the data. Salient features concerning the provision, maintenance and use of public toilets are discussed.

Chapter five then gives the conclusion of the findings and recommendations that are based on the findings.
